1/14/08 Romans 13

In Romans 13, Paul talks about the love.  Paul emphasizes and focuses on love very much.  Paul even says the commands, such as do not commit adultery, Do not murder, Do not steal, Do not covet, sums down to love.  Through these scriptures and comparision, we can see that Paul tried so hard to show us the importance of love.  Then Paul explains one kind of love, love your neighbor as yourself.

Love your neighbor as yourself, this sentence might look plain and simple, but it really isn't.  In the scripture, neighbor means people around ourselves.  There are a lot of people whose around us, and there are some people who we don't get along with.  Being able to treat/love those whoem we hate isn't very simple.  We can be loving on our surface, but being truely forgiving and loving to those people, it's not that simple.  I believe we should realize the depth of word love.  We should know how hard for us to fulfill love to another and strive to achieve love.
